The location of this hotel was absolutely perfect! It was right in the heart of the city with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. We were able to walk everywhere and explore all the sights. The building itself was beautifully restored with charming white stone walls. The size of the apartment was great, with a spacious kitchen and comfortable showers. We also appreciated the good wifi connection and the provided towels.

There were a couple of minor inconveniences during our stay. the front entrance door was a bit difficult to open and made a grating noise along the floor.

There were a microwave, a fridge, coffee and tea making equipment available. There was a handy kitchenette with everything you need. The location was magnificent and a Roman Catholic church was easily accessible...

Excellent base for travelling to Bordeaux and sightseeing. Decent size rooms provided with a quirky lower bedroom. Knowledgeable staff and host. Magnificent, fantastic setting near restaurants, tourist attractions and shops as well as the tram, central Bordeaux and the most prominent tourist destinations.

The location of this hotel is superb, right near the beautiful cathedral in Bordeaux. The hotel itself is unique, as it is located in an ancient cave, giving it a charming and historical atmosphere. With its central position, it is close to everything in the old town, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The rooms are comfortable and the service is excellent, with the host going above and beyond to accommodate any needs.

The only drawback is a minor issue with the front entrance door, which can be difficult to open and makes some noise.

Stayed at Au 47 for a short trip with teenage kids. Quirky and charming accommodation with great communication from the host. Ideal location near the Cathedral and central Bordeaux. Sufficient cooking facilities for our needs. Ignore negative reviews, the old French building adds to the charm. a great choice for adult travelers with older children.
